Before the days of generative AI, if you wanted to create a surreal image you would have to combine other images, learn various blending techniques to merge multiple images together to make them look as though they were shot as one. I spent time having fun and letting my imagination and skill try and make surreal art pieces that I found interesting.
Paying homage to my home city of Newcastle upon Tyne, I blended a giant magpie sitting on the iconic Tyne Bridge.
