Following on from my home based venture "Everyday I'm Bubbling", I had the opportunity to take what I was doing to a busy high street. With this move, I knew I needed a rebrand, so I settled on the name "ChaiBoba". Chai being the word for tea in South Asian cultures, similar to the East Asian "Cha" and Middle Eastern "Shai", and combined it with "Boba" a common word used for the black chewy tapioca pearls that typically accompany bubble tea drinks. With this vision in mind, I crafted a new menu from scratch, combining typically South Asian drinks, such as; lassi, Kashmiri pink tea; desi masala chai and others with more traditional East Asian bubble tea beverages.
The branding, menu design and all of the photography and post processing was done by myself.
